I love the hook, but the verses are pootly sang by Ian. Burocratic. Bad choice on the song key, too, unfortunately. His voice is buried and inexpressive. It could have been a classic. Not a simple challange to cover Dylan, since Echo is one of the best cover producers ever. I love them, BTW.

Saw them in 1985 at the Greek theater in LA, went last week to the same venue 40 years older. 1985 show was much better.

It's interesting, I feel like they played this song way too fast and it took the decisiveness out of the speed of the recorded version, but, the fact that Borland played (and nailed the solo) at this speed suggests he knew what he was doing and was searching for the essence of this song somewhat desperately, that what this track originally captured is what Borland was chasing, his only perceived method to capture it was to play fast/with more intensity, yet that wasn't the route to the essence of this song. And something he didn't manage to figure out. I think this is true of so many people.

Nel 1984 avevo 20 anni, li ho visti dal vivo in un posto vicino a Bari a 15 km da casa mia....ricordo come se fosse ora....dopo 3 brani hanno lasciato il palco, perché Adrian non stava bene, potete immaginare le proteste, le urla della gente....dopo mezzora sono rientrati e hanno sparato 2 ore a raffica di musica....volevo bene a questi ragazzi e ora a 58 anni li ascolto ancora molto volentieri...rip Adrian....
